CYCLING IN CENTENNIAL PARKLAND

This Sunday, my friend Ben and I go to the centennial parkland and hire bicycles. Centennial parklands is one of the most cycling-friendly public spaces in Sydney, with over 750,000 cycling visits made each year. We ride the bikes on the road and share the road with vehicles. Centennial Park’s Grand Drive incorporates a 3.8 kilometre dedicated cycle lane. It is ideal for all levels of cycling experience. We ride bike around the park, we bring some food and had a BBQ at noon. There are lots of ponds in the park, such as Busbys Pond, Lily Pond, Randwick Pond, Duck Pond, Willow Pond, Fly Casting Pond and Model Yacht Pond. We go to the Duck Pond and see plenty of birds there. We give them some bread and take photos with them. Vanellus miles is one of the birds there, its feet is very long. It is many different kinds of birds in the park. I feel so happy in the Centennial Park.
